I have almost 20 years' experience treating anxiety and stress-related problems, and am an internationally recognized expert on the relationship between anxiety and physical symptoms. My clinical practice focuses on the treatment of panic disorder, phobias, and anxiety related to chronic medical conditions, especially lung diseases and cancer. I also specialize in helping people who are having trouble with sleep and health-related behavior changes, such as increasing physical activity. My treatment approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral, and incorporates other complementary practices and techniques, including mindfulness, biofeedback and relaxation training.
