I have an unusual background for a psychotherapist. Before I started my counseling career, I worked as a TV news reporter, an online media executive, and an adjunct college professor. This diverse experience in journalism, business, and education has given me valuable skills that I use in my counseling practice. My sense of humor is another notable aspect of my counseling style. I take my work with clients seriously, but there are times when therapy needs to include some humor. I also offer life coaching for clients who want to make changes but don't know where to start. Choosing a counselor is not an easy process, and it's normal to have some skepticism about whether psychotherapy can work for you. That's why I offer potential clients the option of scheduling a free introductory meeting. I have convenient evening and weekend appointments. I know that psychotherapy can be a significant expense, so I run my practice as efficiently as possible.
