I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Trauma therapist. I have 18 years of experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of mental health facilities. I am currently in private practice and accepting new clients of all ages. I have experience addressing depression, anxiety, grief/loss, divorce, and relationship issues. My specialty is working with children or adolescents with trauma issues or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have recently achieved my certification as a Trauma Therapist. I spent 4 plus years working directly with children or adolescents with a history of child abuse or other traumatic experiences. I utilize the Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) model for treating trauma related issues. I accept clients of all ages in my practice. I am also unique in that I have a specialty working with children as young as 4 years old up to age 18. The children that I have provided counseling for have had a variety of problems with successful outcomes.
