When your child or teen is having difficulty coping with daily stressors, it is hearbreaking. I teach you and your child strategies and tools. Because of my work as a school social worker, I understand the many ways academic challenges, family changes, and social struggles can impact kids and teens' behaviors at home and in the classroom setting. I work closely with parents to help their child learn and execute new skills, so the improvements continue in all areas of life. My ultimate goal is for you to not need me anymore, so you can succeed on your own. Self-confidence is a strength. When kids and teens are struggling, it's the first strength affected. Once kids/teens have strategies to address the struggles, their confidence increases and their relationships with family and friends improve. I utilize practical techniques that get results, while making the work enjoyable. I submit all insurance claims (even out of network) on your behalf and am in-network for BCBS.
