My name is Scott DeSelle, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in various communities in Northern Nevada. I have been a practicing psychotherapist for the past 9 years specializing in the area of trauma and behavioral issues/Parenting. In 2005 I began my career working with physically and sexually abused children, adolescents and adults/families in the Las Vegas area. In 2007 I moved back home to Northern Nevada and have been continuing my work in the area of trauma with all ages. In addition I have also been focusing on children and adolescents, along with their families, with behavioral/conduct problems in both inpatient and outpatient settings. A large amount of my clients are children, adolescents, and adults on probation/parole who are struggling to regain their lives. My training in the area of trauma includes EMDR and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
