I primarily enjoy working with families of children with developmental disabilities including Autism spectrum disorder, Intellectual disabilities, Learning difficulties, Neurodevelopmental disorders related to birth complications and genetic disorders. In addition to developmental testing, I provide consultation to parents of infants and toddlers regarding common childhood issues of Behavior Management,Toilet-training, Sleep problems, School refusal, and Separation Anxiety. Furthermore, I have training and experience working with children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Emotional-Behavior regulation issues related to Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Anxiety disorders (Generalized anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Tic disorder), Adjustment issues (divorce, death, adoption), and Social skills difficulties. My work with children and their families is guided by developmental, cognitive- behavioral and family systems theories. Every child is unique and therefore, I take the child's strengths and unique needs into consideration during testing and treatment planning.
