I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with experience working with individuals, couples and adolescents dealing with an array of presenting issues: depression, anxiety, mental illness, sexual abuse, divorce, separation and pre-marital adjustment to name a few. I am certified in Prepare and Enrich marital/pre-marital counseling and my interest and passion continues to grow strong in the issues surrounding marriage. I have a passion for working with all individuals struggling in life and will strive to offer encouragement to take some difficult steps in the interest of positive change. I operate from a wellness perspective which has a belief that we all seek balance in the many different facets of life in order to find a sense of stability and health. I believe in the power of active, empathetic listening and an unconditional positive regard for my clients as a foundation for building relationships. I consider the aspects of living to be like a baby mobile wherein if one aspect is knocked out of balance the entire mobile can shake affecting both our internal and external harmony and peace.
