Ups and downs are a normal part of life. But if you find yourself troubled by depression, exceptional anxiety, are angry frequently, or have trouble in important relationships, it is time to find help. I work in an engaged way to tailor treatment to fit your needs in a safe and secure environment. There you can make the changes necessary to improve your life. I will encourage you to reach beyond what you think you can do to find your true strengths and potential. I draw primarily from cognitive/behavioral, psychodynamic and attachment frameworks for individual work and systems theories for couples. But, since no one approach fits all people, I suggest and use many other resources (bibliotherapy, relaxation techniques, exercise) to help discover what works best for your unique situation. My personal professional goal is to help clients create more satisfying lives through symptom management,the development of deeper self-understanding, and the creation of healthier relationships.
