Therapy is a service that can help you return to a healthier level of living in the midst of stress and traumatic events. I have found great success in working with individuals and families suffering from loss of a loved one, teenage behavioral problems, sexual abuse, divorce, mental illness, chronic physical illness, and other stressful life situations. In my practice, you can expect a solution-focused approach using an encouragement based model of therapy. I seek goal-alignment with my client, so that our time together will be more efficient and success-oriented. My career in counseling and educating individuals and families includes working in the school system as a teacher in 1996; social service work and parent education in 2002; and eventually into the professional counseling field in 2010. I enjoy helping people reach goals and strengthen relationships.
