I have been in practice for over 10 years and have helped numerous clients learn to better cope with their emotions and environment, build healthier relationships and lead a more positive lifestyle. I specialize in depression; anxiety; sexual, physical and emotional trauma, grief and loss, and other psychological and social issues. I work with teenagers on issues including bullying, social and peer pressure, and academic stress. I also focus on women's issues, such as post postpartum depression and anxiety, day-to-day life or work stressors. I also have extensive history with the LGTBQIA community. I have specialized experience in working with domestic and sexual assault survivors. Mindfulness is also an important part of my practice. I provide a comprehensive approach to treatment that includes person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, and interpersonal formulations and techniques to best meet each individual's needs and goals within a very comfortable, home-like office setting. For LPC-eligible professionals, I am trained to provide LPC supervision towards licensure, per VCA regulations.
