I have a private practice in Bozeman serving youth, adolescents, and adults. When clinically indicated I also work with families and couples. A large portion of my work is with youth, ages five through twelve, and adolescents. Previously I spent seven years as clinical director of two residential treatment programs for emotionally disturbed adolescents. As my practice has matured adults now constitute roughly half of my case load. My treatment approach allows for the effective engagement of a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to personality issues, depression, bi-polar, psychotic states, autistic spectrum, and trauma (PTSD). Severe maladies of the soul, what often are refered to as mental illness, require lengthy in depth treatment. Despite common preceptions to the contrary, conditions such as bi-polar, psychotic states, and trauma, are treated successfully with psychoanalysis. A particular keen interest of mine is the treatment of these difficult and debilitating illnesses.
