My goal is to provide cost-effective, solution-focused treatment to help you feel better in the shortest amount of time. I recognize that whatever brings you to therapy has created pain or problems. That's why we will immediately begin work on how to gain short-term and long-term relief. I also understand that a commitment to therapy can be costly and difficult to schedule. That's why I have reduced my fees and offer evening and weekend appointments. I specialize in counseling services concerning substance use, depression and despair, stress and anxiety, trauma, life adjustment/transition, grief and loss, couples/family dynamics, and LGBT clients. My theoretical approach is largely grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I frequently utilize Motivational Interviewing (MI) strategies. I offer 90-minute sessions for $50 to make therapy more available to those in my community. This reduced fee allows for more frequent meetings during the first two weeks in order to help you feel more in control of your choices quickly. Weekend and evening appointments available.
