For 10 years now, I have helped clients find hope and experience positive change. My desire is to help you feel empowered and cared for, in an environment of acceptance and understanding. One unique aspect of my practice is my ability to integrate faith into the counseling process for those who desire a Christian perspective. If you're looking for an experienced counselor who combines relational warmth and creativity, I would love to work with you. My experience includes using play in therapy with children and EMDR--a trauma treatment model, with all ages. I spent five years as an adjunct professor at Arizona Christian University--teaching classes on family dynamics. In addition, I have given specialized presentations on grief and loss throughout the Valley. I belong to a team of professionals at Journeys Counseling Center. Our desire is to model healthy community and relationships by the way we relate to one another. Through the process of my own healing journey, I have learned how powerful relational vulnerability can be in bringing about change.
