As a licensed professional counselor, I seek to offer hope, help, and healing to those that I work with. I am experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I work with clients encountering a wide range of life challenges, including, but not limited to: transition, loss, relationship problems, trauma, and family concerns. Often these challenges lead to depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, parent-child conflict, and other unwanted problems. I have received specialized training in the field of play therapy since 2009. I play with children in a way that is therapeutic, helps them grow, and promotes their healing. I believe adolescents have the potential to grow into flourishing adults and sometimes need further support as they work through challenging thoughts and feelings. My appreciation for early life stages enables me to understand the growing challenges faced in adulthood, and I enjoy helping individuals navigate their path in life. The way I think and work is with an appreciation and respect for the strength in people. Furthermore, I believe that a successful experience in therapy is based upon the relationship.
