I provide individual and couples' therapy. Feelings of depression, anxiety, shame, loneliness, fear, and uncertainty are common. I approach therapy as a process of learning new ways of dealing with unproductive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I assist clients in: *Reconnecting to their inner strengths. *Keeping love alive in themselves and in their relationships. *Transitioning through times of uncertainty. *Improving quality of life. I work with clients to regain confidence and satisfaction in themselves, their relationships, and careers. We collaborate to develop ways to harmonize conflicting elements of their life and to transform their uncomfortable stresses into workable steps of action. Regarding couple's counseling: You will be taught skills to work through strong emotions and will arrive at a place of clarity, understanding, and a deeper connection with your partner. (It may help erase the ambivalence of whether or not your relationship can survive.) My office has easy access from 394 and Highway 100. It is a modern office with a private waiting room. I provide morning, afternoon and evening appointments. I work gently and skillfully to help you uncover what is underneath your symptoms so you can experience emotional freedom and growth.
