Whether you're experiencing an overwhelming life challenge or a smaller stumbling block, I believe a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship can provide the foundation for moving towards a greater sense of well-being. I use a collaborative approach to first help identify your goals, then tailor our work together to build on your strengths and meet your own unique needs. My clients include individuals, couples and families who are looking for an affirming setting to develop insight, build skills for managing stress, and explore new ways of being. I offer warmth, openness, humor, and support as you take this courageous step. I am experienced in working with clients of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. While I have expertise in treating a variety of concerns, I particularly specialize in assisting those dealing with anxiety or depression, relationship/parenting problems, pregnancy/postpartum issues, low self-esteem, difficult life transitions, and identity concerns. In addition to my private practice, I currently hold a therapist position in Counseling Services at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Previously, I have been a supervising psychologist at Center on Halsted and a clinical faculty member at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.
