Life can take its toll on anybody. Perhaps you feel sad, angry, worried, or disappointed. A relationship or job or family life might not be going well. Maybe something unfortunate has happened in your life and you are seeking support and guidance. In any case, you are ready to start feeling better. I work with adults and adolescents who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship and intimacy problems, eating disorders, life transitions, and academic and professional difficulties. I also work with women experiencing postpartum blues and depression, as well as those facing the challenges of pregnancy, pregnancy loss, and parenting. I am a licensed clinical psychologist and my private practice is right in Wayland Square, on the East Side of Providence. I provide support, constructive feedback, and insight with a warmly interactive and collaborative style. While effective psychotherapy takes a little time, it can be an incredibly rewarding experience. Successful treatment occurs when there is a good fit between the therapist and patient. It is crucial that you feel comfortable and understood so you can have candid conversations about your feelings and experiences.
