Whatever else this life may be; it is a path of healing. All our challenges, difficulties and struggles are steps on that path. Awakening to the truth of who we are leads to healing. In working with clients I bring an attitude of active encouragement and non-judgement. From those attitudes I invite clients to build a relationship of safety and trust so that their level of self-acceptance can increase and lead to positive changes in their life. As a therapist, I am actively involved in the process of encouraging, and challenging clients to find the truth of their life situations and themselves. That truth includes both strengths and limitations and involves working with thoughts, feelings and behaviors to find a healthier physical, mental, emotional, spiritual balance in life.
