Well...Licensed MFTs are trained psychotherapists that treat a variety of mental disorders with an emphasis on how they impact interpersonal relationships. Each of my clients are unique and experience their problems in their own way. That's why I start with a thorough understanding of factors surrounding your problem(s). You are looking for insight and relief as soon as possible and my goal is to facilitate your journey toward finding those solutions and relieving the distress you're experiencing. My approach focuses on Cognitive Behvioral Therapy and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. My experience includes working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting issues, post-traumatic stress, and physical and sexual abuse. Understanding your unhealthy core beliefs, underlying assumptions, and coping strategies is the first step toward change. My primary role is Clinical Director of one of Nevada's largest mental health providers, but I am passionate about working as a psychotherapist. I offer extensive WEEKEND availability and evenings. Saturday and Sunday 8 AM to 8 PM.
