Ashleigh has experience providing individual, family, and group therapy. Her passion and specialty is working with ages birth to five utilizing a variety of techniques including Child-Centered Play Therapy, Filial Therapy, Bibliotherapy, and Sand Tray techniques. Ashleigh frequently works with young children and their caregivers to heal attachment related disorders. She has extensive experience working with families of children who were born substance exposed or experienced trauma in the first 3-5 years of life. She also has experience working with older children and teens using a strengths-based approach to address issues such as trauma, sexual abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence, neglect, self-esteem issues, grief, depression, divorce, and anxiety. Ashleigh offers a parenting group focusing on Love & Logic techniques for caregivers. Ashleigh is a Licensed Associate Counselor who received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, and earned her Infant/Family Clinical Practice Certification through the Harris Institute at Southwest Human Development. She offers some evening and weekend appointments.
