I work with children, adolescents, and adults individually, as well as couples and families at Thrive Counseling Center. I practice from an experiential approach, with the belief that people are naturally oriented towards growth and health in the core of their being. I help clients become unblocked so they may live more authentically, increase self-awareness, and work towards self-acceptance. I incorporate play and art therapies in my work with clients. I have experience assisting clients with a variety of presenting challenges, some of which included behavioral issues, parenting concerns, adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, step-family concerns, divorce/separation, relational difficulties, and intimate partner violence. Thrive Counseling Center is a unique place for kids and teens to come for therapy. We love to get creative in sessions, incorporating art, play, and sand tray therapies! We believe families play a key role in each member's well-being, so we work with parents and the family as a whole, too.
