Safe, Comfortable Supervised Detox Our CARF Accredited Detox program is staffed 24/7 with experienced Doctors, Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Addiction Counselors in a confidential, private residential setting to ensure the most comfortable Detox experience possible. Typically, the detoxification period ranges from 5 - 7 days depending on each individual's physical and psychological condition and the rate at which they progress through the stages of withdrawal. Withdrawal symptoms are managed with medication and/or Acupuncture Therapy to minimize any pain or discomfort that is common during the withdrawal phase. A Psychiatric Evaluation occurs within the first 24 hours of admission, followed by additional appointments as necessary for medication management and continued evaluation. Our Detox houses are gender specific, for your comfort and security, and residents are free to participate in individual therapy and to attend groups at our adjacent Residential Treatment center whenever they feel physically able to do so, at no extra charge. Once the Detox phase is complete, residents can then immediately admit into the Residential Treatment program and begin learning about the resources and tools that are available to help them with successful, long-term sobriety. New Dawn Continuum of Care Few people begin can stay sober following Detox without engaging in a drug and alcohol treatment program. New Dawn offers all levels of care. Many choose to step down to either our Residential Treatment facility or to our Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. Our seamless step-down process allows program participants to maintain their progress and continue to add to what they have learned at every stage of treatment. We are one of the only CARF Accredited programs in the country to offer a 1 year guarantee of sobriety for graduates of our 90 Day Residential Program.
