I work with high-performance and driven individuals. As someone with that same "wiring," I can appreciate your desire to remove roadblocks, get un-stuck, and refocus your energy onto the things that really matter. I love working with clients who have already tried therapy and felt like it hit a brick wall or moved too slow. I help these clients pinpoint their blindspots, break patterns that hold them back and overcome past traumas that intrude on present life. I also help clients diagnosis and treat situations including anxiety, grief, phobias, trauma, all types of abuse and PTSD. Prior to private practice, I worked with addictions, trauma, and family/relational issues. I have also been trained in EMDR, which combines traditional talk therapy with current brain research to help you dig deeper into why you do the things you do and how your past affects your present. As part of Chenal Family Therapy PLC, I work with team of dedicated therapists who each specialize in different issues. This team approach allows me to bring a much broader expertise than just my own to your counseling experience and provide coordinated treatment and referrals for families or couples.
