Life is filled with challenges. By seeking help you have taken the first step toward claiming more for your life. The benefit of wisdom beyond our own often enables us to move beyond surviving to conquering even the most difficult challenges. Devastating circumstances can tap remarkable strength and courage in even the most timid spirit. I have worked with individuals and their relationships from age five to seventy five for over twenty years. Together we work to understand the perspectives and life skills they have learned through their experiences and replace those they choose to with healthier ones. Beyond my doctorate in counseling psychology, I have training in many areas such as depression, anxiety and fears, relationship issues, ADHD, substance abuse, trauma, stress and self esteem. I use a cognitive/behavioral/systemic approach and a variety of interventions to aid in the healing process. I am an energetic, compassionate, interactive psychologist. I am a person of faith and I am sensitive to the faith perspectives of others. I seek to make growth a positive experience. I have created relaxation/imagery/mindfulness CD's to aid in the therapeutic process.
