I believe that acceptance and surrender are the first steps towards making a change in ones life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who focuses on encouraging and empowering individuals on their road to recovery. I work with adults with addiction issues, as well as depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. I also treat couples dealing with troubles in their relationships. My approach is psycho-dynamic with emphasis on empowering my clients by using a short-term problem-solving approach. I strive to create a safe space, where individuals can trust their ability to be vulnerable. I understand that therapy can be a scary journey, but the most rewarding in the end. While we can't change difficult situations in the past, we can work together to make positive changes for the future.
