If you have anxiety, depression, family conflict, oppositional children, domestic violence/domestic abuse, low-self-esteem, under-performance, poor motivation, unresolved trauma and/or chronic pain and medical issues, there is at least one or more underlying, unresolved attachment/relationship issue(s) to address. Balanced, right relationships with self and others is the key to feeling healthy and whole; evidence based studies in neuroscience demonstrates the effectiveness of emotion-focused and trauma-focused therapies I use. These therapies are not only highly effective, they are brief solution therapies that can lead to making long-lasting positive change. I have extensive experience working with individuals, families and couples in conflict; this includes effective parenting; oppositional youth; sexual abuse; domestic physical and emotional abuse; children of divorce; step-parenting/step-families; estranged relationship issues; chronic developmental trauma, acute stress and PTSD (including being a caregiver for chronic medical illness). As a clinical hypnotherapist, clients are helped to more effectively resolve difficult issues such as chronic pain; training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, an eye movement therapy, helps clients more quickly resolve core emotional issues. I am the author of "How to Be a Caregiver for an Aging Parent with Dementia".
