My desire is that my client's feel safe and cared for, while at the same time gaining practical skills for issues they are facing. I do not utilize a 'one size fits all' approach to counseling, but believe that therapy should be centered around each client's own strengths and goals. My specialities includes working with adults and adolescents struggling with eating disorders, body image, self-injury, anxiety, depression, anger, relationship struggles, life transitions and trauma/abuse. I believe that real change can happen and I consider it a privilege to help others find lasting change and recovery. In order to address all areas of the client's need, I collaborate with other health professionals such as a medical doctor, psychiatrist and/or dietitian. I find using a team approach to the treatment and recovery of eating disorders and substance abuse addictions provides the best overall care. Sliding scale fees available based on need and availability, which is made possible by our partnership with To Write Love On Her Arms. We also partner with Camaraderie Foundation to provide partial scholarships to all post-9/11 active duty military personnel and their families.
