My desire is to be a support for sustained change in the lives of those who are seeking strong, loving relationships with spouses, partners, family members, children/adolescents, colleagues and ultimately within themselves. I try to create secure attachments to support the development of loving, parent/child relationships. I also have a therapy dog that visits my office as an alternative form of therapy that works well with the children and adolescent population. My hope is that this will add a unique treatment aid to clients who may not fully respond to traditional counseling techniques. I enjoy working with children and adults of all ages. I have been in the field for 20 years and have worked with an array of populations. I have experience in the areas of trauma, substance abuse, adolescents (at-risk youth), mental health case management, school counseling, relationship issues, divorce, child custody, blended families, and family dynamic issues. I am also an approved Missouri Supreme Court Domestic Mediator. Additionally, I have an extensive background in helping families work through the emotional issues associated with the high conflict divorce/child custody process.
