Needing guidance, understanding, direction and clarity during times in our lives when we find ourselves lost or struggling is simply part of the human experience. Asking for help to find direction is only a strength. It has been my pleasure during my 20 years as a psychotherapist to have assisted others during these times by providing this guidance in a safe and compassionate environment . Because we are social beings relationships are often a primary issue that I believe is critical to healing and growth. My office is open to all. I do not discriminate for sexuality, race, religion or gender. I specialize in marriage/ couples therapy having received intensive training from the Gottman Institute. This includes gay and lesbian couples. Treatment of depression and anxiety includes cognitive behavioral therapy and rational emotive therapy and is a primary focus with most individuals. Additionally, I specialize in addressing codependency and addiction issues. I am a preferred provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan, PHCS, and Value Options insurance panels.
