If you are searching for a therapist, you must be thinking about what you want to change in your life. Change, while sometimes overwhelming, can be very rewarding. I specialize in helping people change and have been at it for 18 years. My treatment philosophy is based on establishing a good relationship & specific treatment goals, based on my client's opinions. An ongoing process, client feedback determines how I encourage and direct change. I treat a wide variety of problems including anxiety, depression, grief, AD/HD, OCD, eating disorders, relationship issues, life developmental hurdles, stress and trauma. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral, Sandtray and Client-Directed Outcome Informed Therapy. My training as led me to work first on building a solid therapeutic relationship. Listening attentively, I determine what someone wants and then use this information to develop a specific plan to ensure a successful outcome. Our agency is designed with healing in mind. We have a dedicated Play & Sandtray Therapy room and use it for all developmental ages. This along with my philosophy of staying focused on clients' goals, thoughts and feelings about the therapeutic process help me be effective.
