I provide play therapy services to children, adolescents and families. Recently, I trained under Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross, co-authors of "The Connected Child," in Trust-Based Relational Interventions. Utilizing Trust Based Parenting, in combination with Theraplay (a specialized play therapy modality,) has been a huge asset to my treatment approaches with families. I value the power of the parent-child relationship. I am honored to assist families in strengthening this relationship and love being a witness to their success and healing. With over 20 years of experience helping children and families cope with issues such as trauma, disruptions in attachment, loss and grief, divorce, behavioral problems, challenges related to autism spectrum, depression and anxiety, I am dedicated to enhancing and empowering the lives of the people with whom I work. Born and raised in the Midwest, I moved to Idaho in 2006 with the goal to spread play therapy across Idaho. Almost 9 years later, I am thrilled to have achieved this goal. I love going to work every day knowing I'm helping children and families through play.
