I offer expressive art therapies for children, adolescents, adults, and families. With 12 years of experience as a clinical counselor, my specialties include art and play therapy, trauma resolution, treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, as well as stress and behavior management. I also offer transition services for young adults moving towards independence. My practice is highly individualized, focusing on client and family strengths to promote healthy patterns of communication and positive regard. I have advanced training in trauma resolution, including certification as a trauma specialist through the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children, as well as training and experience with EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. I maintain Registration and Board Certification as an art therapist. Art therapy is a powerful approach for people of all ages. Artistic talent is not required; a willingness to participate in the process is all that is necessary. Art interventions are integrated into treatment on an individualized basis.
