Choosing to engage in therapy is an extremely difficult and courageous decision. My approach to the therapist/client relationship is one of a genuine, objective, and respectful nature. Counseling can be extremely helpful. I believe this is particularly true when you sincerely want change and follow through with exercises, goal setting, and interventions that you and your counselor agree may be helpful. My job is to help you to become more aware of the choices that you have, increase your ability to make informed decisions, and empower you to eventually become your own therapist! I work with individuals, couples, families and adolescents. I currently specialize in * Mood disorders * Chronic Pain, Chronic Fatigue, and managing chronic medical conditions * Partner relational problems/ Couples therapy * Physical/sexual abuse, PTSD * Divorce/ Parenting issues/Co-parenting through divorce/remarriage and blended families *Adolescent emotional/behavioral problems * Addictions * Grief and Loss * Life Cycle adjustment problems AS OF 06/2014, I will be offering a reduced rate for sessions purchased in advance, for cash pay clients. Clients can buy five sessions for $300.00, and have three months to use them, whether you are able to attend or not. It is an opportunity for therapy at a reduced rate.
