I have 25+ years of diverse experience in the field of Social Work. My youngest client has been 5 and my oldest 91. My clinical work has focused on relationship issues, mood disorders and transitional life issues. I like to think of myself as a coach as well as a therapist. I see therapy as a collaborative process where I hope to facilitate solutions using the best of myself and others. I deal with grief and loss issues, lack of purpose or joy, body image, and stress. I use a combination of behavioral, psycho-dynamic, and family oriented treatment approaches. My goal is help people reconnect to their wiser self. Restoring optimum functioning is my goal as is reducing behavior that no longer serves you. Many tools are utilized to accomplish these goals. Some include but are not limited to Guided imagery, relaxation tapes etc.
