I believe that we each have a story that is meant to be told. Often, in some part of our story, we become lost, discouraged, angry, confused, hurt, or surprised by where we find ourselves. As a woman who believes in the power of redemptive relationship to heal, I find myself honored to walk alongside individuals and couples as they discover that there is more: More to their story, more wholeness to be had, and more hope to move toward. My understandings of hope, healing, humans, and the world are rooted in my understanding of Christianity; however, I enjoy working with folks of every sort. I primarily use an integrative approach to therapy called Interpersonal (which is grounded in attachment theory), along with a client-specific blend of interventions from ACT, DBT, and CBT. I have more than 10 years of ministry experience working with teenagers, families, and college students, and I am a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator for pre-marital counseling. I work with a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, codependency, sexual abuse recovery, trauma, cutting/self-harm, and eating disorders.
