After 37 years of life and training in metropolitan New York I moved to rural Vermont, engaging with the seasonal cycles and the issues my neighbors confront. As a Jungian Analyst I am very well suited to treat clients who find themselves in the dark and perhaps unanticipated aspects of life. End of life issues, anger management dynamics, substance abuse, all have a certain symmetry and common ground. The dark, shadowy elements of life are invited into the light most readily by objective empathic analytic engagement. I am able to bring this to my new community, to my Vermont practice. I encourage some of my individual clients to enter group work as well. This dual process of individual depth investigation and interaction with other clients offers a unique opening into one's inner world and the world of relationships. I am a former athlete. I am a long-standing cancer survivor. The journey into the depth psyche has been necessary to my healing process and to sustaining a meaningful and productive life. I have 3 siblings, and I am father and grandfather. My life experience continually informs my practice.
