"Even the healthiest of individuals, couples, and families come across challenges that invite confusion, overwhelm and even despair. Getting support during difficult times can be helpful in encouraging yourself to move more confidently in a positive direction. My style is open and empathic, yet insightful and direct. I utilize humor as a tool for healing. In the seriousness of life can we laugh at it and transform it? I was awarded the 2006-2007 Counselor of the Year by the Idaho Counseling Assocation in January, 2007. I specialize in the resolution of depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am an EMDR therapist and a sandtray therapy, offering client's a variety of ways to work through their issues. To help my clients create more peace in their lives, I teach mindfulness-based stress reduction.
