I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, and children of multiple cultures, ethnicities, and economic backgrounds. I believe it is vital for a therapist to create an environment where the client can feel safe to discuss issues from his/her perspective. When a client feels safe and ready for change I am able to help them devise a plan to change unwanted behaviors. I recently finished a Masters program at Northcentral University for Marriage and Family Therapy and look forward to helping others. I have studied a wide range of issues, including: sexual abuse, child abuse, relationship issues, communication issues, infidelity, rebuilding intimacy, elderly issues, LGBT issues, and addictions of all types. I am most interested in working with children and families of physical/sexual abuse and couples that want to reconnect and rebuild intimacy in their relationship.
