I am a licensed clinical social worker who enjoys working with others--individuals, couples, families-- to help them achieve their goals. Whether it's to help others improve their self esteem or let go of a painful part of their past, I commit to my clients' pursuits and stick with them during their journey. I realize this takes trust first and foremost, therefore my approach is all about the relationship between therapist and client. By building on this trusting relationship I have helped clients with issues of mental health, addiction, trauma and abuse. I find trauma to be the one common thread most of my clients share--whether the trauma was experienced in childhood or in adulthood--it seems to be the core experience of my clientele. This has led me to believe in various interventions as they apply individually to the client. I have many years experience working with adolescents although currently my practice is predominantly adult clients. I also have several years experience doing family therapy as well as couples work.
