In my work with adults, my focus has been on addictions, grief/loss, anxiety and coping with separations. With couples, my focus has been on communication, infidelity, and the relational effects of addictions (particularly gambling). In my work with children, I treat social, behavioral and emotional issues. My experience with addictions began years ago when I worked for the National Institute of Drug Abuse. I was trained in CBT to address impulse control, parenting, communication, etc. Later, I began working with clients that needed a higher level of care in psychiatric hospitals and at behavioral health agencies. Publications: (2009) Psychometric examination of the Timeline Follow-Back in substance abusing mothers within child welfare. (2009) Description of a standardized treatment center that utilizes evidence-based clinic operations to facilitate implementation of an evidence-based treatment.
