As a Cognitive Behavioral therapist I know that what we believe effects what we do and what we think about our selves and our place in the world. Depression, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder are all impacted by what we believe and how we understand and relate to the world. Working as a trauma therapist, I find helping people find alternative way to understand their experiences to be one of my greatest joys. Using an electic approach to therapy, I help people re-interpert their experiences in life affirming ways. Ways that reduce the pain of memories, ways that reduce the interpersonal conflicts, ways that allow a person to find themselves in a happier place.
