For Families in Need The Family Institute of Nevada provides individuals, couple, family and group counseling services for mental health and substance abuse problems. Counseling services for the public are provided by licensed therapists as well as therapist interns who are supervised by licensed therapists, with the clients' consent. As a non-profit, educational institute we are able to offer affordable, high-quality behavioral health services to families deemed at risk by local government and community agencies such as the school district, juvenile justice system, child protective services, and foster care. Our Mission To measurably improve the quality, affordability, and availability of behavioral health services for at risk children, adolescents, and their families in Southern Nevada. To provide the framework for a collaborative effort of government and community agencies to reach families in need.
