Having worked as a school social worker for 20+ years I have learned that patience and a sense of humor work miracles when standing knee-deep in the middle of children and adolescents searching for their authentic self. And that holds true with adults as well. No matter the age of my client nor the reason that brings them to my office, I want to be clear that this is a team approach. That having a neutral party to speak with; someone who will not judge but someone you can share your concerns and issues with can make all of the difference in the world. I have experience working with clients dealing w/ depression, generalized anxiety, social phobias and life transitions. I work with families and individuals experiencing separation and divorce as well as counseling surrounding those left behind by suicide completion. I have had the pleasure of working with clients of all ages and gender identities. Currently I am hoping to co-facilitate a parenting support group with another therapist. I am also available to work with you to put together a group if you are interested. My experience as a school worker has offered me the opportunity to work with all families -- no matter how they define themselves.
