I enjoy working with individuals of diverse age groups, from childhood to adulthood. My goal is to empower my clients to deal more effectively with their life circumstances by eliciting insight and equipping them with adaptive coping skills; while utilizing their faith to assist them in the healing process.When working with children, I work closely with the parents to facilitate a team effort in addressing the needs of the child and the family as a whole. I also work with couples to elicit healthier communication patterns, thus promoting couples' satisfaction in their marriage. Aside from treating a variety of problems (depression, anxiety stress, relationship issues, divorce, grief and loss, anger, and trauma); I often conduct psychological assessments to help clarify a diagnosis, especially ADHD in children and adults. Persoanlity assessments are valuable in guiding the treatment process for more effective treatment results. As a solo practitioner, I provide individualized attention to each of my clients, while accomodating scheduling demands. I am a Latina, who offers services in Spanish and who is sensitive to cultural issues. My Catholic faith assists me in guiding my clients to more fulfilling lives.
