I will work with you to identify your goals and create a plan for how to reach those using your strengths and how to manage or avoid obstacles. I have ten years of experience working with all ages of people in settings which included community mental health, school-based counseling, day treatment and short-term residential treatment. I actively seek out training in research-supported strategies to ensure that I am offering the most effective support to clients that I am able. I have received additional experience and training in working with anxiety disorders, CBT, play therapy, EMDR and am actively pursuing licensure in Alcohol and Drug Counseling. I am able to utilize EMDR to address trauma, anxiety, and substance abuse, as well as using it with children, all in adjunct with other therapeutic strategies. You do not have to have a Primary Care Physician, or see any other providers at Little Rivers, to receive mental health services.
