I see children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of emotional and mental health issues. I treat clients with psychotherapy, medications, and often a combination of both. Each individual has unique needs, and I work closely with my clients to formulate the best treatment plan. When it comes to medications, I am conservative and conform my prescribing to what the latest medical evidence supports. I am also licensed to provide Suboxone treatment for opioid addiction (addiction to medicines such as OxyContin, Vicodin, and Percocet). After medical school, I completed 6 years of residency and fellowship training in psychiatry at UCLA/San Fernando Valley, the University of Southern California, and Yale University. I am board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I customize treatment to the unique needs of my clients, and create a therapeutic atmosphere that is empathetic, safe, and non-judgmental. I offer flexible scheduling, including after school/work and weekend appointments, as well as immediate appointment availability.
