I am a counselor/therapist who works with individuals, families and group. My focus is in helping individuals improve and enhance their self understanding, learn to make better decisions, forgive themselves and others, find joy in life and to learn ongoing coping strategies. In my five plus years as a private practisioner I have worked with women in recovery from drug use, domestic violence,other issues that I address include behavioral issues, grief and parenting. Over the years I have found that therapy is most effective when I emphasise team work as part of therapy. Together we discover new insights and remedy old problems . My job is to provide a safe environment to build trust and create a therapeuatic allieance. In combination all these steps enhance positive outcomes. My services are holistic I promote growth in all areas including physical health and I incoporate the role of spirituality in attaining permanent change. I am in close proximity with medical professionals for cunsult if needed.
