I am committed to helping clients move through a variety of challenges by building self-awareness, learning and practicing new skills, and growing in their relationship with themselves and others. I provide integrated client centered solution focused therapy using diverse approaches dependent on client preference and need. I have a special interest in solution focused, mindfulness based practices, emotional regulation and distress tolerance techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, adaptive information processing and effective communication. I also provide supervision for licensure to prospective clinicians. We have 4 offices: Laurel, Billings, Hardin & Lame Deer. I most often work with clients experiencing adjustment reactions, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I am a trained EMDR clinician. For couples work, I use Emotionally Focused and Gottman therapeutic interventions. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), marriage and family therapist (LMFT), and addiction counselor (LAC). I bring more than 28 years of experience working with co-occurring illness in mental health, addictions, criminal justice social work, and trauma informed care. I am a qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).
