You've taken the hardest first step...looking for a therapist. You may know what you want to work on, or you may feel that something is missing in your life. My job is to listen carefully and without judgement, give feedback, and help you learn coping skills that can improve the quality of your life. Even one session can make a difference. My experience includes working with men and women who are struggling to recover from abuse in childhood or adulthood, grief issues, mending troubled relationships, facing major life decisions, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues, and persons with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). You are the expert on your life. I use a variety of approaches, in order to utilize techniques best suited to your particular needs. I regularly encourage feedback from you so that you will have a satisfying healing experience.
