My career as a psychotherapist spans over 20 years. I am a social worker and received my MSW from Fordham University.Helping others has always been my life's passion. Therefore if you are experiencing struggles in your life and believe you would benefit from professional support, the treatments I offer are psychotherapy, goal directed solution therapy, CBT, motivational therapy, art therapy, hypnotherapy and mindfulness therapy. The areas in which I specialize are: treatment for depression, anxiety, addiction recovery, grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, phobias, relationship problems, pain management, stress related disorders, skin disorders, aging and end of life issues.I also worked with Veterans and their Families for 9 years at the VA. I began my professional career as a R.N. and therefore my philosophy in the mind- body connection is rooted in both the disciplines of nursing and psychology. The areas I practiced nursing in were critical care and women's health.
